Films show on Saturdays and Sundays and continue from June 4th through July 17th! Don't miss this opportunity to see some of Elizabeth's best film work and most iconic style moments.
Liz's beauty was evident as a young star in "National Velvet" -her violet colored eyes and raven hair were striking, even at a young age.
Her glamour was hauntingly beautiful alongside co-star Montgomery Clift in "A Place in the Sun". Wearing designs by famed Hollywood designer, Edith Head, Liz quickly became one of the most stylish beauties in film.
And who can resist her white hot looks in "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" wit...

New York based jewelry designer, David Yurman chose Nashville, TN as the home of his first freestanding boutique in Tennessee. David started his artistic career as a sculptor and successfully transitioned into the jewelry business. His iconic cable bracelets catapulted his label to fame in the early 1980s and his recent advertisements with Kate Moss have created a brand recognition that is second to none. Given the fact that there are currently only 19 David Yurman boutiques in the United States, it is quite an honor that Nashville, Tennessee is now among them.
To add to the excitement of the event, David Yurman himself, as well as his wife Sybil, were present at the Grand Opening of the Nashville, TN store located at The Mall at Green Hills on Wednesday, May 18, 2011.

Tuesday, April 26, British designer label Marchesa was featured at this year's Nashville Symphony Spring Fashion Show, held at the world famous Schermerhorn Symphony Center.
Marchesa is known in the fashion industry for delivering glamorous, decadent, and eclectic designs seen most often in lavish weddings and on red-carpet celebs such as Halle Berry and Anne Hathaway. Designers Keren Craig and Georgina Chapman are the creative genius behind Marchesa, and both were present at the event looking as gorgeous as their runway models.
Prior to the show, media gathered upstairs in the Green Room for photos. The two designers looked stunning, wearing very different but equally magnificent gowns. Craig resembled a Grecian Goddess in a long, white, flowy, deco-inspired dress w...

Valentine Valentine was the first designer of the evening. Most of the clothes were bohemian with a southwestern flair, but a few wild cards added a vibrancy to the collection. A favorite was definitely a puritanical high-necked top paired with a skirt comprised of a motley assortment of patterns that paid homage to the rest of the collection.
The Leona Collection was up next, with the models sporting classic styles and colors with a few exceptions. Many pieces shared a trademark star pattern paired with a solid color. Notable standouts included a short black dress with sheer sleeves, and a star-patterned shirt creating an appealing contrast with a simple, military-inspired skirt....

Day 4 of Nashville Fashion Week
Day 4 of Nashville Fashion Week was my favorite day of the whole week. Walking into the courtyard of War Memorial Plaza (pictured above) I thought to myself, "This is the way a southern fashion show should be." Why? It was elegant, filled with charm, and had a chic appeal. We weren't trying to be trendy, we weren't trying to be 'New York', we were being Nashville. Appetizers were served in the courtyard which was lit dramatically with geometric silhouettes.
We were then ushered in to the auditorium with expansive hard wood flooring, a live band, and lots of open seating. It was nice, comfortable, and not filled with urgency of the other day of Fashion Week. Day 4 was like a lazy summer day. There was no bad view of the show which made the day more ap...

When I heard about Alain Patterson several months ago, I was told that he was a couture designer who also happens to works for Gibson Guitars. So, I did some research and sure enough, I found his website www.alainpattersoncouture.com. Simultaneously excited and confused, I couldn’t understand why I had not heard of Alain before. I could tell immediately from his website that his talent was of the caliber that one would expect to find in Paris or Milan, but Nashville?
Apparently, Alain has been Nashville’s best kept fashion secret for quite some time. I have a feeling that this is about to change in a VERY BIG way!
With all of the events coming up such as Nashville’s Steeplechase and Louisville’s Kentucky Derby, I thought the tim...

As I turned the corner of Russell Street, garbed in my sacramental red kimono that I bought back in the day while living in NY, I saw a long line of fashionable people. These folks were waiting patiently, waiting patiently...waiting to be let into the Crystal Fountain Church.
It was Thursday night of Nashville Fashion Week and the headliner for the week, Christian Siriano, was debuting his line.
Aside Siriano were four other featured designers (Olia Zavozina, White Rabbit, Cooper by Courtney Warren, & Union of Angels). After people watching for a bit, the lines began to move and quickly the church filled with anxious onlookers and press.
The pews were completely filled, the lighting was perfect and large screens were placed on both sides of the front steps. These screens serv...

On Wednesday, March 30th, 2011 the second round of runway shows were held at The Arcade in Downtown Nashville. The event got off to a bit of a late start due some apparent confusion about media placement and seating. Luckily, the cocktail reception at Rymer Gallery was a great place to wait for the show to start.Patrons mingled, snapped photos, and enjoyed complimentary cocktails, delicious mini-cupcakes, and fabulous hors d'oeuvres.
Once we were informed that the show was soon to start, we made our way across the street to The Arcade to find our spot for the show. Anticipation built as media crammed into the back of the curtained off space. It was a bit chilly and cramped but everyone was excited and eager for the show to start. The crowd grew quiet as models walked onto the runw...

On Tuesday, March 29th at The Pinnacle Building in Music City, Nashville Fashion Week debuted its first runway show. The mood was set perfectly with incredible views of downtown, low lighting, and uber cool music playing in the background. The sprawling, loft-like space allowed for great runway views and comfortable mingling while fashionistas enjoyed complimentary cocktails and incredible appetizers as they waited for the runways shows to begin. Opening the show, was Jamie and the Jones.Jamie and The JonesLocal designers Jamie and The Jones kicked off the show. Models glided down the runway in flowy cotton dresses and skirts to the beat of sensual world music. Muted earth tones of yellow, green, and tan in addition to beautiful, marbled prints painted an earthy, African palette. The incred...
