Opry Mills Grand Re-Opening & Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
Opry Mills is back and better than ever! Take a look at the ribbon cutting ceremony and a peek at some of the new and returning shops that were open to the public for the first time in almost two years, due to the devastating flood in May 2010; including our friends Bullets & Mullets who opened their second location at the brand new Opry Mills in just a little over a year of celebrating their first location opening in the Gulch. Gotta love local fashion entrepreneurship! So many great stores, so many excited customers ready to shop!

Category: Event Coverage
Date Released: Sunday, April the 22nd, 2012
Description:
After 2 years of renovation and rebuilding, after the devastating flood in May 2010, Opry Mills Mall has reopened (thanks to Simon Property Group) and Nashville couldn't be happier!!! Tennessee State University Aristocrat of Bands played the tunes, Grand Ole Opry member Pam Tillis sung the National Anthem, and all of the attendees-from Nashville and surrounding areas-were enthusiastic about shopping, as urged by our own Mayor Karl Dean. See who's returned and who's new on the block-including local retailer Bullets & Mullets who's first location has been open just over a year and now they are open in Opry Mills with location #2. Are your favorites back? Video shot by Patrick Webster and edited by Alicia Boswell.
