2011 ABC Heroes in Heels Fashion Show
Event was held September the 20th, 2011. Photography by Tony Beasley - Studio One ProductionsThe evening featured 20 models, who are all breast cancer survivors, wearing Belk's latest fall fashions to help increase breast cancer awareness and support of the YMCA ABC Outreach Program. The Heroes in Heels fashion show is the largest fundraiser done each year for the ABC Program and 100% of the proceeds go directly to providing these services free to participants. ABC provides each survivor 8 one on one visits with certified Pink Ribbon Trainer, 4 visits with a registered dietician, extensive lymphedema education, 16 weeks free use of the YMCA, on-going monthly educational seminars, and exercise classes designed just for survivors.
